How Dumb Is This Commercial: Fancy Feast

This "elaborate" commercial has so many problems. First of all its entirely too long; a full minute long commercial all leading to cat food, seriously?  It starts off on a sour note when this woman brings her boyfriend to meet the parents and then she longingly gazes at the cat scurrying down the stairs. Then she has an extended goodbye session with the cat after dinner when she is leaving and her boyfriend gets a brilliant idea in his head which makes him look constipated (maybe mom's cooking wasn't that great). This guy then makes architectural blueprints to remodel the living room when in actuality  all he is doing is cleaning, painting and hanging shelves. To turn a living room into a cat palace is ridiculous. Why he bought a green grass-looking carpet for the living room is beyond me because any sane pet will pee all over that. Proposing with a kitten is dumb, the puppy idea is clearly superior. To top it all off this kitten finally gets to eat their fancy feast out of a glass/crystal bowl while those two idiots are eating take out Chinese food; that guy could have at least made dinner to go along with the proposal, honestly. Basically this commercial is an epic cheesy disaster and dogs are better, yea I said it!
