First off does anyone know whats happened to the British Summer and will we be seeing the sun again this year?
Thought I would share with you my rather odd experience with Chanel makeup counter today in Debenhams Preston, I was wondering through and thought seen as I had no makeup on I would get colour matched and a tester for the Chanel Pro Lumiere Foundation.
When I asked for a tester the lady said "oh no we don't give testers out", erm ok then!! so I asked for her to colour match me which she did, BADLY!! she said straight away "oh yes your the same colour as me" so I obviously thought she knew what she was doing. She whacked it on and powdered a little too, and put some god awful lipstick on me, then held up the mirror! ARRRRRRHHHHHHHHH I looked bloody awful, cakey, shiney, sticky, it was sliding off my skin, and the colour match was TERRIBLE I had a definite line around my jaw, it was so embarrassing having to even walk to my car.
She colour matched me to 40 Beige and the lipstick was 54 Boy Rouge Coco, all in all I looked like a very bad drag queen! not impressed at all. My usual foundation is Double Wear and I buff it in with the ELF powder brush so never looks wet or cakey on my skin, the Chanel foundation just sat on the top of my skin and look terrible. I am really disappointed cause I was gonna plump for one when my double wear ran out.

What foundation would you recommend girlies? I want full coverage and matte looking.
