Casey Anthony, The White OJ!

What will my mom talk to me about on the phone now that the Casey Anthony trial is over?

Like most housewives, I'm sure, my mom has been glued to the television watching the Casey Anthony trial and gives me daily updates on it. No updates from her knee surgery but I am always up to the minute on the Casey Anthony trial on a daily basis. I have not been able to watch religiously like my mom, and hey as I am writing this my mom is calling me and she just told me that the verdict is out and will be on in about 30 minutes.

THE VERDICT: not guilty on murder and child abuse. Guilty on counts on lying to police officials.

I am shocked yet not shocked about the verdict. There was little evidence that a murder did occur but it is just unsettling that any person would not report their child missing for 31 days. This is the white OJ case basically because everyone assumes that she did it and will continue to do so.

Now that the trial is over what will Casey Anthony do? Who in their right mind would hire her, she will not be able to find work and will be on welfare for sure. And who is profiting from the television coverage of this trial? Even if she is a mess, she should benefit from this media spectacle since it was her trial. I think televising this trial is inappropriate to begin with. I don't see how it is appropriate or ethical to make trials public.

Way too much money is being made off of this trial, that's not justice. There was literally a number you could text "CASEY" to and you would be notified of the trial verdict.

Was the trial sponsored by a bottled water company? Casey Anthony was always drinking bottled water as the judges on American Idol always drink "coke", what's up with that?

So next will be sentencing for lying to law enforcement officers.

If only Oprah didn't end her show because you know she would have the parents and the jury on the program to talk about the case and would probably have a private jail interview with Casey about it, way to drop the ball Ope. Maybe she will make a special for OWN!
